The Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office has lifted some mandatory evacuation orders for the French fire as progress is made in containing it.
According to CAL FIRE’s latest update, the fire has burned at least 908 acres and is 25% contained.

– Hospital Rd – From Silver Creek to the end (up the mountain)
– Grosjeanweg
– Alta Vista Road
– Avoca Valley
– Old Highway North from 140 to 10th Street
– Slaughterhouse Road
– Road to the MCHS baseball fields/track
– Mariposa Street
– Trabuccostraat
– Parts of Hwy140
– Moreview Road
– Stockton Creek area
– Slaughterhouse from highway 140 to Allred
– Allred Road from Slaughterhouse to Hwy 49 South
